Faddy foods, slimming products, diet surgery and extreme weight loss regimes - the world has gone diet mad! Alongside every new celebrity diet launch the public is continually bombarded with confusing food scares and health warnings about the serious dangers of being superslim so it's no wonder our relationship with food is becoming increasingly dysfunctional.
Presented by Dr Christian Jessen and Anna Richardson (journalist), this brand new series of Supersize vs Superskinny looks at what happens when people with contrasting diet habits swap their diet and lifestyle for a week. From a superskinny, under-eater to an overweight, over-eater, their lives will be turned upside down during the swap, being forced to live the way the other person does in an attempt to prove to them that they both have a dysfunctional relationship with food – that eating too much is just as bad as under-eating.
Will Supersize vs Superskinny kick start a whole new regime of balanced and healthy eating, transforming their relationship with food and weight or will it just encourage them to revert back to their old eating habits?

I can't believe this show is allowed to be aired. This is a major trigger for people suffer from eating disorders, not to mention how damaging it must be for the people on the show. You know we're living in a sick world when we use other people's illnesses to entertain us.
Hello, I am slightly overweight but am following a healthy eating plan and going to the gym 4 days a week - only to better myself...I was watching this channel tonight and saw the advert for 'supersize vs superskinny'...while I understand it is aimed at both sides of the spectrum, I couldnt help but notice the tiny 'skinny' host/postergirl advertising the show!! How about putting a healthy size 12-16 man/woman to host or promo the show....after all, isnt being healthy what its all about???
