Small Teen Big World

About the show

Being a teenager is tough, but for 15-year-old Jasmine Burkitt it's even harder, because she's just 3'8" tall. The six months captured in this documentary are the most important of Jasmine's life so far. She's going to celebrate her 16th birthday; go to New York to get her rare form of dwarfism diagnosed and to meet others with similar genetic conditions; camp out at her first pop festival; learn how to drive a specially-adapted car and, for the first time, meet her averaged-sized father. Jasmine is a very engaging, bright and brave young woman, who tackles all challenges thrown at her with warmth and humour.

Hey Jazz not sure if you read these or not but I wanted to say I love your show. You are an amazing young woman. I now watch your show and even tape it when I am at work. You should be so proud of yourself and I know being a mum my self that your mum is so proud of you to. You maybe small in size but you are huge in heart, peronality and more grown up than alot of adults. I wish you all the best in your life and hope you and other small statued people are treated with the respect you deserve.
    Regards Margaret Taylor AUSTRALIA
