Shipwrecked: The Island

About the show

This brand new series of Shipwrecked promises a return to its roots. The refreshed format has a back to basics approach to island life, with ten young people marooned on an island in a beautiful South Pacific atoll – 20,000 kilometres from the UK – that they’ll call home for 13 weeks. Over many months they must build shelters, create communities and compete to win new members to their islands. But the contestants are aware that the experience is going to be tougher than ever. With feisty personalities clashing for leadership, less than luxurious living conditions and very basic food rations available, they may be living in paradise, but this is no summer holiday!
