Promzillas

About the show

Promzillas is set in the heart of the teenage rite-of-passage; Prom Night. Each hour-long episode introduces two girls who have planned their outfits and looks with military precision, as if it is their wedding day – known as the “Promzillas” – and two girls who are dreading the big night because they feel too shy, poor or unattractive to attend – the “Cinderellas”. The show stars a crack team of stylists, including stylist to the stars, Gary Cockerill, presenter Brix Smith-Start (Gok’s Fashion Fix) and celebrity hairdresser, Stephen Glendinning, who ride into town in a pink double-decker bus. Our fairy godparents are throwing open the doors of their pop-up “Prom Shop”, which comes packed with dresses, shoes, suits and plenty of advice to help transform the two Cinderellas into the belles of the ball, with lots of confidence boosting along the way. From helicopter arrivals to fake tans gone wrong, who will win the coveted crown of Prom Queen?

I wish we had the show Promzillas or something like it in Australia, because I need help in the whole prom/formal experience I am a distance education student and home educated so i will be missing out on the experience. Through my school head office we have what we call a grand lunch graduation ceremony but nothing to this extent. I would love to recreate the prom/formal for family friend and myself so if you have any tips that could help I would be forever grateful

i wish we had people like this in australia... i could honestly do with people like these amazing people next year for my year 12 formal!! i have been bullied really bad throughout my whole high school life and i also try to dress to impress everyone else but it seems that no matter what i still can't impress anyone and hopefully next year i can go to my foraml and impress everyone and not have to worry about whether or not everyone thinks i look nice because hopefully i'll feel like a princess when i go (which means a lot of saving) :)
