There are SO many flats on the market, it overwhelms (and bamboozles) me, and I end up buying nothing.
I'm hesitant to buy into an area I don't know, so this is stopping me from widening my horizon and perhaps getting better 'value for money'.

Have looked for about 3 years for a four bedroom house to match current location. Impossible to find, please help. We love our current house and area but it is just too small. We (married couple + kids aged 3 and 5)would LOVE your help to find our perfect long term family property. After many moves around NSW over the last 5 years, we have moved to Avoca beach on the central coast which hopefully will be a long term move. We've had a few disastrous rental issues (ie landlord put property up for sale 3 weeks after moving in, and then moved to a house which has damp and noise issues). We're looking for a family friendly house in a kid friendly area with large good kitchen, 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms, study (husband works from home), good backyard, pool if possible, walking distance to beach/shops/school. We're finding it so hard to find as Avoca is notoriously hilly and therefore hard to find a family friendly property. Pass on to Phil and Kirstie. One thing I have learnt about the poms from their great show - NEVER EVER TRUST THE WORD OF A POM. For example:- Recent show "legal eagle" Cash buyer extracts great price for property - SIGNS THE CONTRACT - then has a change of heart - cancels a month or two latter. The poor bloody vendor, who foolishly took this "LEGAL EAGLE" at her word has taken the property off the market, perhaps the market has gone down, who knows. At least in this country, with its convict past, you can trust us to honour our contracts, and the court will enforce them. Jmac

I love the show and the two presenters very much. Phil and Kirstie are great together and I love seeing all the properties in the UK. One concern that upsets me greatly is the flippant remarks made by Kirstie quite often lately about "suicide". I lost my son to suicide and it hurts to hear it used in such an offhand manner. Phil and kirsty have a great work relationship. I love Phil charisma and kirsty charm. I watch there show twice a day and never get bored of it. I also loved kirsty other show, home made, it was excellent. Wish I could meet both of them.

Kirsty is very aristocratic with a lovey face. Phil has an impish grin and is is always making sexual inuendo remarks which adds to his school boy charm. They behave as if they were married to each other.
