Fishing Western Australia

About the show

Join Ryan, Lisa and Harry for this fantastic new series as they journey around Western Australia fishing until they can’t fish any more. While the series is specific to one State, its characters and exciting fishing sequences make it accessible to all anglers. Entertaining as well as instructional, Fishing WA features world class fishing sequences and presenters who are easy to relate to. In this exciting new series, the team take advantage of Rottnest Island’s amazing fishing possibilities, go squiding in the sheltered waters of Cockburn Sound, and search for the elusive Pink Snapper in Perth.

Hi, I'm the carer of Michael (Mick) a 36yo male with terminal cancer. He is an avid watching of your show, the only time he misses it is if he's asleep. We are about to start raising funds for Mick as is life time dream has been to take his family across the top of Australia, starting from Broome (West to East)then down the Eastern side back to Tasmania where they reside. Would love to no what you would recommend for us to do fishing wise up there. The trip well most possibly start from anywhere between May to August. Would love your input. fundsformick@live.com.au. Cheers Di

I live in SA and watch Fishing WA every weekend. Massive fan of Ryan Thipthorpe and JACKO! Lisa is doing a great job but just doesnt quite have the Pizzazz, excitement and sheer enthusiasm of Jacko or the knowledge and experience of Ryan! The guy who fishes with Lisa raves on a little too much and has the scientific name of GT's somethink around carnobulus on his brain..LOL Urhookedfish www.saredtaggers.com Tagging snapper in SA

Without Nick and Jacko this show is dam boring and bland. With them it was the best fishing show on TV in Australia and NZ. I used to record it every week. Fire the idiot that replaced them and bring them back
