Diet Doctors

About the show

How much does diet really affect our health? While it is accepted that what we eat is directly related to our weight, there are also around 30 other serious medical conditions that develop from poor diets. Diet Doctors combine medical and holistic approaches to not only looking good, but feeling good. The doctors use an arsenal of shock tactics to tackle some of the most extreme cases – such as skin complaints, diabetes, insomnia and infertility. Can the doctors rebalance their patients’ lives through diet alone?

P.S this show does something that GPs don't usually have the time to do with their patients which is to educate them. The doctors on this show have a great opportunity to educate people and help them to understand the reasons *WHY* their doctors tell them what to do about their diets.

Great show. They told me things none of my GPs have for example the look of the tongue when the digestive system is not right! I was very interested in the episode about Carol as I am also in my 50's, have high blood sugar (and a close relative with Diabetes, my brother) and am probably 25-30 pounds overweight. I am also deficient in vitamin B12 and suffer from IBS. I tried to write down the supplements that carol took but didn't get them. Is there somebody I can ask about this online? I do already take vitamin B12 and Omega fish oil but there were a couple of others I did not get down.
