TV presenter, horticulturalist, business owner, writer… Garden Angel
Acclaimed television presenter Jody Rigby has over 12 years of industry experience, creating hundreds of gardens along side her colleagues on popular series’, Backyard Blitz and The Outdoor Room.
Jody first pursued her passion for the outdoors and a career in horticulture with a four-year apprenticeship in Parks and Gardens in Sydney where she graduated first of her class.
After completing her studies Jody was offered her first presenting role on Backyard Blitz, which would earn seven Logie awards in its eight year run. Jody also took responsibility for the program’s research and contributed to Burke’s Backyard magazine for four years. This was followed by a garden design program, The Outdoor Room, where she again worked alongside Jamie Durie providing expert advice.
Jody also runs a successful garden design and horticultural consultation service and in her spare time enjoys the arts, music and has been playing drums for the past 12 years in various bands.
