Swap My Style allows style-savvy ladies to Buy-Sell-Swap fashion items they no longer wear for treasured finds straight out of somebody else’s closet at live events and also online via the fashion community.
Swap My Style’s events and online fashion community, bring together women of all shapes, sizes and tastes under one roof for a stylish and fun night of drinks, canapés, makeovers and pampering, schmoozing and good old fashion swapping.
At the events, guests may bring up to five items of pre-loved clothing to be checked into the “Swap Shop” at each event – the new ‘My Closet’ feature gives swappers in the more expensive price bracket full control over whom they swap with. ‘Designer Pop Up Stores’ also feature at the events, providing the added opportunity to purchase threads from Australian designers at a whopping 30-70 per cent off – so you can buy a new pair of heels to match that fab dress you found on the swap floor!
In 2009, Swap My Style launched an online Buy-Sell –Swap Community. So now you can attend a Swap My Style event or Buy-Sell-Swap your style from the comfort of your own home!
All un-claimed items at the end of each Swap My Style event will be donated to charity.
Swap My Style believes that every fashion item can go on a series of journeys from one loving owner to the next. Yes....it was a fab night!! I bought some great Hussy dresses and also swapped my tight jeans for some Peep Toe Shoes :) My Closet was great - as I was able to make the decsion to swap or not
