Spring Fix: Staying Stylish while Shaping Up

It's time to start paying as much attention to your wardrobe as you do your workout! Here are our Style Expert's top picks for fitness fashion.

Spring has hit, and we are already experiencing some beautiful sunny days that make us want to throw on that little dress we have been dying to wear since buying it in the sales!

For some of us, September is a great month for to focus on our fitness before Summer arrives and with exercise gear becoming even more and more stylish and fashion forward, there's no reason to look daggy whilst punning the pavement. With designer collaborations such as Stella McCartney x Adidas popping up, you're spoilt for choice! 

Feet first 

The first thing to put on your list is a pair of reliable and fun runners. Gone are the days of boring monotone sneakers, invest in a fun pair of neon runners - you'll go faster, promise! ;) 

Tighten up

A good pair of exercise tights work miracles when it comes to looking and feeling the part. Try and pick up a pair that incorporate compression technology such as Skins, which aids in circulation (amongst many other things) and helps to eliminate lactic acid. 

Swimwear

If you're more of a water baby when it comes to exercise, a great pair of swimmers for laps will do you wonders. Stella McCartney x Adidas performance are my pick for Spring 2013. You can also pick up a few stylish wetsuits if you're a board rider - the girls from Tallow get it right each time. 

Also, don't forget to protect yourself from the sun when you're out and about. You can pick up a visor which will keep your face out of the sun.
