She is certainly one of the most famous fashionistas of the last decade and is credited for giving birth to the classic rock chic look now sported by everyone from Sienna Miller to Alexa Chung.
But while her fashion sense, social status and choice in men have been well documented in the media, Kate herself is a notoriously shy and private person who rarely gives interviews.

Born Katherine Ann Moss on 16 January 1974 in Addiscombe, Croydon, London, her parents divorced when she was 13. She was “discovered” just a year later by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management, at JFK Airport in New York City, after a holiday in The Bahamas.
Since then Kate has appeared on over 300 magazine covers, achieved “supermodel” status along with the likes of Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, and is estimated to be worth around $70 million.
Kate Moss’ road to success has not been without its bumps though. She was criticised in the ‘90s for championing the “waif” or “heroine chic” look which caused many people to question her weight. Her high profile romances to Johnny Depp and Pete Doherty have caused her much grief and the infamous cocaine snorting tape sent her career into a nose dive in 2005.
