PEAR SHAPE
Small waist? Round hips and thighs? Finding jeans that fit a pear shape can be a mission impossible. “Stick to a jean that is fitted through the leg with a slight flare from the knee worn with a pair of heels gives the illusion of an elongated body – you've got to love that!” says Michael.
Try: Jeanswest Curve Embracer, $65 or 2 for $99
SKINNY
A variety of cuts work with a skinny frame, but to give your shape a boost, pair the jeans with the right top. For example, skinny jeans look great with a loose, bohemian-style top.
Try: The Ruler; Super Skinny; Boyfriend relaxed, all from Jeanswest, $65 or 2 classic pairs for $99
FLAT BUTT
While some women would love to have this problem, the “no butt” look is not one to go for in jeans. So what’s the alternative to saggy bottoms, or worse, painful butt implants? Jeanswest’s ‘Butt Lifter’ jean, which features a flare leg with the back pockets positioned higher in the seat to give the illusion of a curvier bottom.
Try: Jeanswest The Butt Lifter, $65 or 2 pairs for $99
BIG BUTT
Forget low-rise jeans that accentuate your round shape (as well as creating bottom cleavage). “By having a jean that sits a little higher, it will create a smooth continuous silhouette that will make your butt look smaller,” suggests Michael. High waist jeans also minimise muffin tops, and look great with fitted tops and chunky belts.
Try: Jeanswest Tummy Trimmer, $65 or 2 pairs for $99
WHAT’S HOT IN DENIM THIS WINTER?
“Denim this season has seen an explosion of wash treatments with distressed and repaired, black and grey, panelled and coated denim,” says Michael.
“The Skinny is a great winter basic for a number of reasons. They create a clean sleek silhouette which is great when wearing this season's bulky winter coats and oversized knitwear and are perfect for tucking into your boots.”
Also look out for military biker denim jackets. “Match it back with a denim jean in a contrasting colour.” Double denim? Why not! Take a deep breath and give it a go.

I like those designers, but some designers out there really need to get back to a real fashion sence of what people really wear and can afford. http://www.desisuit.com
