If you loved the frills and ruching of previous seasons, start getting excited because the best is yet to come. Softening slightly for a look more girly than geometric, ruffles, ripples and bows positively billowed onto S/S 2010 catwalks. Valentino models looked like gorgeous gifts swathed in chiffon bows; Isaac Mizrahi took origami to another level, manipulating his materials into flowers and giant roses; while Oscar de la Renta, Armani and Mila Schon had us drooling over dresses we’re certain to see gracing the red carpets.
You know you're in trouble when the dresses don't even look nice on the models. That Stella McCartney number is shocking.
Gorgeous, too old to wear now that I am 56, but the look is great and makes a woman feel 100 percent feminen.
