sprig of parsley

1 Chop the onion and chilli finely and place in a bowl. Add the lemon juice and salt. Leave to stand for 1 hour in the refrigerator.

I have tonsillitis at the moment, for the first time in my life and im 31. I have to say its been rather a tortorous experience for me!
I was sitting up in bed watching this show when this idea came on to help the relief of these symptoms and thought wow im going to watch this and take notice as the chemist gargle just wasnt working for me and tasted just awful.
I got the ingredients today and made up this mixture, I LOVE IT! I loved the smell, the taste, felt fantastic on the throat and mouth. Its so fresh and doesnt leave you with a sickly taste in your throat and mouth afterwards.
I must agree, this mixture would even go well in with something else like tomato or vegetable juice or a little more adventurous to drink!
Love this mixture, thanks for sharing :)
