We have had to replace our shower base twice and am thinking about putting down tiles instead, but our house is built on a pod system which means there is a hole around the area under the base. Have been given ideas but can you help with an answer whether to fill in hole, waterproof and then tile? Hope you can help. Thanks. Julie.

Hi Julie without seeing it, hard to fully recommend but the hole would certainly need to be filled but you will need to make sure there is a slight 'fall' to the drainage grate so water doesnt pool. Then you can look at waterproofing then tiling shaynna Shaynna Blaze Interior Design Expert
