Please help me, my skin's in trouble!!!
Answered Friday 17 December 2010 |
Hi, my name is Chelsea and I'm 18 years old. I have had a problem with my skin on my face and especially my nose for so long I can't remember when it started. My nose constantly peels, even though I never go in the sun and my skin is a very light white. I have huge problems with oil on my face. And I have literally tried every product in the shopping centre (woolworths). Every single product makes my skin on my nose peel. I am quite upset as I get zits all the time, although I don't have acne. It's very upsetting as my face used to be really nice. Please help me because I have tried everything and I'm a really big girl. I need my face to rely on finding a boyfriend. Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this. THANKYOU!!! =)
You seem to be in a little bit of distress, hopefully I can help you out with a few tips.
When you are saying that your nose is peeling what is actually happening is that your protective barrier may be impaired and what can cause this are common irritants being put on the skin.
Some good advice: Ensure you become an ingredient reader; avoid ingredients like Mineral oil, Lanolin, S.D Alcohol, Artificial colours and Fragrances. Many make-up’s and skin care products actually contain what are called ‘comedogenic ingredients’ that are known and proved to clog the pores and irritate the skin. How to avoid this, simply ensure you only use products both make up and skin care that state they are non comedogenic, they are not hard to find there are now so many mineral based make up ranges.
Some other great advice would be to see a Professional Skin Therapist and have a skin analysis done. Here they can look at your skin and determine what is going on and put you onto a good home care routine that will ensure that you have great skin all the time!
