Lillypilly Shrubs dying

Answered Sunday 16 September 2012 |FacebookTwitter

QuestionAsk Charlie

We live in Caloundra & have been given some Lillypillies, which we planted about March, they are now dying and we have been told that it is because of clay. Could you please tell us what to do about them as we want to make a hedge across the front garden.

Answer

I would work some compost into the soil to try and free it up - also put some clay into some distilled water and if it goes cloudy the soil can have some Gypsum as well to free it up. Charlie Albone Landscaping Expert
