Question
hi,
im 18 years old and i have major issues with clothes, i dont know what to wear to clubs because i dont want to look like christmas ham in all these tight dresses girls wear and i try to wear clothes that i think look good in magazines or on other girls but when i see pictures of myself i almost die of how horrible it looks on me, like for example my picture haha. i would love to wear clothes alot of girls are wearing but it just doesnt suit me! i always end up looking fat. im tall and have long legs, my belly isnt skinny and the top half of my arms always seem to look big as well.
could you give me advice on what to wear to clubs and what to wear casually that would look good and not make me look/feel fat please? :)

Answer
Hi Korey,
The only person you want to look like is you. DO NOT ever look at the girls in magazines and want to look like them. You are stunning, you have the most beautiful face!!
The trick is to dress for your body shape, we all have different body shapes. You can check out my blog to help you work out exactly which body shape you are -

Here are some handy hints and style tricks to consider when dressing:
* It sounds like you may not like your tummy area? then draw people’s attention away from this area. Make them focus on your fabulous long legs or your gorgeous face or bust. If you wear some amazing heels, then people will focus on your legs. If you wear a statement pair of earrings or necklace, then they will focus on your face. If however you wore a fancy belt, then people will focus on your waist and tummy. So you can control where people look, just by wearing the right accessories.
* To make your waist look smaller, always try to wear capped sleeves or short sleeves. Possibly also some volume in your shoulders. When you add volume to your shoulders, it exaggerates your shoulder line and by doing this it will make your waist look smaller.
* Look for some cute dresses that have a small capped sleeve or short sleeve, with an open neckline and make sure the dress is fitted around your bust and waist. A print dress will look much more flattering then a plain solid colour such as black. Plus look for a fabric that will drape on your body and not cling, such as jersey fabrics.
I hope my hints and tips help you, thanks for dropping me a line.
Cheers,
Donny
