Hi Adrian, I have lots of Garlic bulbs and would like to peel and preserve them, could you please tell me the best way to do this.
You can keep the garlic in oil in the fridge or pickle it.
Here is a basic pickling recipe.
100 g brown sugar
500 mls white vinegar
250 mls white wine vinegar
250 mls white wine
4 whole shallots
1 tab coriander seeds
Combine all ingredients bring to the boil
Pour over onions or cool & pour over sardines
Rest for 24 hours
