Creating artwork using wallpaper

Hi Shaynna Love your work ... I'm doing an Interior Design course and getting fabulous ideas one of them is to create my own artwork using wallpaper ... but I've found that you can only purchase wallpaper in 10 mtr rolls and I only need a couple of metres. I don't want to pay over $100 for a roll and waste most of it. I've tried painted wallpaper but it doesn't give the effect and depth I would like. Do you know anywhere I might be able to purchase wallpaper by the metre??? Or other suggestions??? Can't wait til the next series :) :)

Answer

Hi Sandra I cant think of any companies that sell by the metre as companies lose money once they have opened the roll. You could approach paint companies and decorating stores that may have used wallpaper on a display and have a little out the back still. Or try wall stickers, IKEA have a range and then there is the wall sticker company as well that may have something for you. I hope this helps! Shaynna Shaynna Blaze Interior Design Expert
