QuestionAsk Charlie

I am trying to find out suitable vegies to grow in pots ie: tomatoes, caps, chillies. I also have a small courtyard that has had 5 trees removed due to improper placement - previous owners choice, looked pretty when small - whoa when they grew. I have a couple of palms, asparagus fern, spider ferns and a umbrella plant. I have the inside corner free of anything and thought of putting in agapathnus, dwarf lavender and possibly some salvia. Do u think they are suitable plants. I am disabled and need low maintenance and as drought friendly as I can get without looking like I live in a desert. Many thanks.

Answer

it sounds like there is a lot of plants that may create some shade so those plants may not be suitable. I would look at more tropical plants that are better suited to shady conditions Charlie Albone Landscaping Expert
