A special project for a special child
Answered Thursday 5 July 2012 |Share:

Hi Charlie, My name is Glenn and I have a 6 year old son who is severely intellectually disabled has mild cerebral palsy and also epilepsy. I am under going a major renovation on my house to suit my sons needs which is a very costly and as a single parent it really does get hard some days due to the lack of support from the government. But luckily some people care out there and a local gym have managed to raise nearly $7000 dollars for an outdoor area for my son. This where my question comes in. I have tried to find someone who can help design a special garden (sensory Garden) for my son but I have been unable to find anyone able to assist me. Would you or some one you know in Western Australia would be willing to assist in this special project? I understand you must get requests like this all the time so if you cannot help it`s ok but at the end of the day I just would like the best for my son as he is a special boy and always has a cheeky smile and would know it would be the best thing that he would ever want as he loves the outdoors.
Yours Sincerly

Answer
Glenn, I'm sorry to hear of your struggle and at the moment I am unable to help due to my commitments in Sydney. My resources in western Australia are limited but I will keep you in mind and ask around to see if I can get anyone to help. all the best in the future. Charlie
