Shannon's idea of winter is all about indulgence, big bowls of soup, fluffy slippers, and dressing up in hats and scarves.
Winter colours are deep, rich and unconfronting. It's not that they're devoid of colour, it's just that they're more muted at this time, than in summer. So inside, Shannon likes to surround herself with chocolates, creams, berries, coffees, and caramels, which reflect the subtle tones found in nature.

To keep away the cold, Shannon wraps herself up in soft chenilles, velvets and cashmeres, steering clear of scratchy woollens.

Winter time is all about slowing down and spending lots of time indoors updating photo albums, baking cakes and snuggling up on the sofa with a good book. Shannon gets into hibernation mode and likes to reflect and rejuvenate, contemplate and start planning for spring. Just sit and look around you, take in your surroundings and notice your creative juices start to flow.
