1. Put a couple of drops of tea tree oil on the edge of the chewing gum.
2. It should be pliable enough to be prized up with a plastic knife (or other gentle implement that won’t scratch the floor).
3. Damp pantyhose will wipe away the last of it. Tea tree oil works with most resin residue like sticky tape, wax and so on.
