Other ways you can create beautiful contrast in a room include:
- Creating focal points through designer features such as chandeliers.
- Black and white is the best example of contrast and using these colours in a room can create a very clean design that is full of drama and energy.
- Use décor in the room to maintain a single style through the use of a variety of elements such as colours, sizes, patterns, textures etc.
- Use complementary colours (colours that face opposite to one another in the spectrum) for the best contrasting results!

I just redecorated my bedroom but now I might be (slightly) doing the MEH! Ooopssy. Never mind…it’s what I love to do – decorate! http://oakfurniturefdf.co.uk/
