After giving the floors a good sweep, make up the following cleaning solution:
• Half a bucket of water
• 1 pot of black tea (the tannin in the tea will cut through grease)
• 1/4 cup of white vinegar (a natural disinfectant)
• 2 drops of lavender oil (for fragrance)
Then wrap a broom head in pantyhose, dip it in the solution and give the floorboards a good scrub.

Do you have a solution for removing decking oil off indoor polished floors. Unfortunately people walked through the house before the deck was dry now i have footprints on the floors that i can't get rid of. Any ideas would be gratefully accepted as we are selling our house

My floors dried with water marks how did you avoid this?
