Brown bread contains bran which acts as a gentle abrasive and the bread itself is an absorbent. The tea tree oil dissolves the wax while the bread takes the pigment off.
• All you do is put a couple of drops in the middle of the bread, scrunch it with the oil facing the wall and rub.
• The mark should come straight off – then turn the slice over so the crusts are facing the wall and wipe gently from side to side to remove the excess oil.
• Note: Don’t be tempted to use wholegrain bread because it’s too abrasive and may scratch.
