This year’s winning bathroom was discovered in Lancefield, Victoria, a leafy town located approximately 95 kilometers out of Melbourne.
The bathroom, which perfectly balances traditional style with modern fittings, is a light, airy space overlooking a divine rural setting. Ashley loves that the room is a reflection of the couple. “Chris and I are hopeless romantics! We wanted a place where we could soak in the tub and unwind," says owner Ashley Collins.
The contemporary Kado Lure freestanding bath is the feature piece in the room, perfectly complemented by the traditional Bastow Georgian tapware, which appear in the stand alone island storage unit. This look is a fantastic way to create space by moving the products away from the wall and into the centre of the room.
The spacious enclosed shower area features two large Nikles overhead showers, detailed tiling and an oversized feature mirror.
The double Porcher basins work harmoniously with the cream vanity and maintain the provincial elegance of the room.
Says Belinda Geels, Reece Bathroom Marketing Manager, “I congratulate the winners for their inspired product selection and overall design. The juxtaposition of contemporary fittings with traditional style, and the room’s unique use of space, has created the ultimate luxury bathroom retreat.”
